Privacy Policy

Photos you take with Isochrome are written to your device and, if you allow it, to your system photo library. They stay there. Isochrome has no account system and no cloud storage, so your images are never uploaded to us.

Your camera settings — selected loaded film, zoom, shutter speed, ISO and auto or manual exposure — are stored locally on your device so the app opens where you left it.

Camera access is required for the app to function. Photo library access is requested only when you choose to save a photo. Isochrome asks for nothing else — it does not request your location. Isochrome’s access to your photo library is add-only. It can place a photograph there; it cannot read, browse, or open anything already in it. The gallery inside the app shows only frames Isochrome itself captured.

Your photographs never leave your iPhone unless you share them. There is no account. To know which ads lead to installs and subscriptions, the app uses Tenjin, an app measurement service. It sends Tenjin an identifier for this app on your device, basic device information, your IP address, events such as opening the app or buying a plan, the plan and price, and an Apple Ads attribution token. This is used only to measure our own advertising. Isochrome never asks to track you across other companies’ apps, does not use the advertising identifier and shows no ads. Isochrome ships with three film stocks free. The rest are unlocked with Isochrome Pro, available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annually) or as a one-time Lifetime purchase, processed by Apple. Apple handles the transaction and your payment details; we never see your card information. We receive only the confirmation that a purchase was made so the app can unlock the stocks.

We don’t sell your data, and Isochrome shows no advertising. The outside services the app uses are Apple’s App Store, for purchases and app updates, and Tenjin, for measuring our advertising as described above.

This section is about isochrome.app, not the app. The website uses Google Analytics to count visits and taps on the App Store buttons. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your browser and device type and your approximate location. It doesn’t tell us who you are, and we don’t use it for advertising. Google may process this data outside Australia, under Google’s privacy policy.

Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and pages requested, for security and reliability. To opt out of Google Analytics, block cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

You can revoke camera or photo library access at any time in iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes all locally stored settings. To ask us to delete the measurement information held by Tenjin, email hello@unpixeled.com.
