Isochrome is a camera app. Your photos belong to you. This policy explains what the app stores, what it never collects, and the choices you have.
What Isochrome stores
Photos you take with Isochrome are written to your device and, if you allow it, to your system photo library. They stay there. Isochrome has no account system and no cloud storage, so your images are never uploaded to us.
Your camera settings — selected film stock, focal length, aperture, shutter, ISO, and auto/manual preference — are stored locally on your device so the app opens where you left it.
Permissions we ask for
Camera access is required for the app to function. Photo library access is requested only when you choose to save a photo. Isochrome asks for nothing else — it does not request your location. Isochrome’s access to your photo library is add-only. It can place a photograph there; it cannot read, browse, or open anything already in it. The gallery inside the app shows only frames Isochrome itself captured.
Diagnostics
Isochrome collects nothing about you. It has no account system, no servers, and no analytics. The app contains no networking code at all — it is not able to send your data anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to send it.
Purchases
Isochrome ships with three film stocks free. The rest are unlocked with Isochrome Pro, an auto-renewing subscription available monthly or annually, processed by Apple. Apple handles the transaction and your payment details; we never see your card information. We receive only the confirmation that a purchase was made so the app can unlock the stocks.
Third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your data. Isochrome contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no third-party software of any kind. The only external service involved in normal use is Apple’s App Store for purchases and app updates.
Your choices
You can revoke camera or photo library access at any time in iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes all locally stored settings. There is no diagnostic data to request the deletion of, because none is ever collected.
