Isochrome — shoot like it’s on film

A film camera app for iPhone with 21 film simulations.

Isochrome is a camera, not an editor. Load an emulsion, and it stays loaded. What you see in the viewfinder is what you get — the frame is committed the moment you press the shutter, not talked into a look afterwards. Set aperture, shutter and ISO yourself, or let the meter call it. Either way, there is nothing to edit and nothing to undo.

Every dial, in your hand

01 — Manual aperture, shutter and ISO: Set exposure by hand the way you would on a film SLR, or leave it on auto and let the meter make the call.
02 — Focal lengths from 13mm to 85mm: Prime focal lengths, switched without leaving the viewfinder. Which are available depends on the lenses your iPhone has. It shoots like a 35mm camera with a bag of prime lenses.
03 — Live film preview in the viewfinder: The emulsion’s color and grain are on screen before you shoot, so the frame is finished the moment it is taken.
